This is Acadia, our biggest update of the year (so far)! We’ve been focused on making Briefly faster and more useful after your first draft.

Here’s what we shipped...

Introducing Ask Briefly

Tell Briefly what you want to improve, then get from good to great in a flash.

This was one of our most heavily requested features.

The introduction of Springboards meant users could generate first drafts quickly. But once that draft was generated, the editing process was manual and, frankly, old-fashioned.

With Ask Briefly, you can now iterate on your brief quickly by telling Briefly how you want to improve it.

It's a bit like pair programming or workshopping your brief with a senior marketer.

Get started by pressing '/' in your brief.

Choose a preset style improvement, or give the model some extra context or guidance.

Here are some examples to try out on your next brief:

  • Make these key messages funnier
  • Our marketing objective is actually to increase awareness by 10%
  • Give me three ideas for this campaign, if the only aim was to increase our social mentions.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be introducing more and more functionality to Ask Briefly - including the ability to query your company's key docs.

Agencies welcome on Briefly

Share briefs with external users. Simple, collaborative, secure.

No need to download briefs to send to your agency partners - you can now invite them to sign up for a View-only account, and they'll be able to see your brief right in Briefly.

You can manage which agency team members can see your briefs in exactly the same way as managing access for your own team.

There's a lot more to do to create the ultimate, collaborative briefing platform - but this is a significant first step.

Biz Intel. Better.

Larger doc storage and smarter retrieval make Springboards more accurate than ever.

This was a biggy.

Since introducing Springboards at the start of the year, we've been focused on improving their clarity, relevance and accuracy.

For Acadia, we completely re-engineered how we store and search against a company's key docs. This means that each time Briefly generates a Springboard it will be able to both search across a larger swathe of Biz Intel and return more relevant results, meaning the Springboards themselves will be more useful.

We did all this without compromising on performance - our generations should be as speedy as ever!
