Welcome to Briefly 1.36, also known as our Iguazu Release.
Iguazu comes fresh off the back of our ‘Briefly for agencies’ release and sees a host of quality of life improvements for clients and agency folk alike.
Here's what we shipped...
See your projects at a glance with new summaries and briefing cards
We’ve launched a new Home experience, designed to make staying on top of your work easier than before.
Now, you’ll see dynamic summaries of your briefs and projects, so you don’t miss important updates.
Our new briefing cards provide key details—such as assigned team members and campaign launch dates—allowing you to check project statuses without opening individual documents.
Easily switch between a card view and an enhanced table view for the layout that works best for you.
If there’s another view or specific metadata you’d like to see, just let us know.
Track the status of your briefs and projects without having to juggle multiple apps
Our old brief statuses weren’t very helpful. And plenty of you complained that you couldn’t edit them (as they were set automatically based on hard-coded events).
So, we’ve built entirely new ones…
Briefs now have 5 statuses:
Some status updates will still happen automatically (such as when you submit the brief to your agency). That said, you can update any status manually whenever you like, so you’re in complete control.
Both your new Home experience and the new statuses are a step towards us getting better at project management. We’d really appreciate your feedback here: What’s working? What’s missing?
Here’s a list of everything else we shipped…
🏞️ Enabled adding images to briefs
✉️ Improved submit to agency flow
🏡 Gave the dashboard experience a spring clean
🖥️ Improved responsiveness for different screen sizes (still lots to do - we’re on it)
⚡️ Sped up app performance (~10% faster load times)
🗂️ Test run briefs now pull from your key docs just like normal briefs
📈 Enhanced evaluation algorithms to better monitor AI performance
📆 Fixed response/ campaign dates so they can now be cleared
📚 Fixed a quite horrible bug with GenUI discovery questions where too many options would cause, well, everything to break
We ship major updates every two weeks.
