'Family viewing' is a well-established TV category. But not all shows benefit from your family's presence. HBO Go offered a solution.
HBO Go is HBO's on-the-go app that let's viewers watch their favourite shows wherever they are. To drive awareness of it, HBO launched their 'Awkward Family Viewing' campaign which played on the insight that not all shows are best watched on the TV and in the company of your family. In fact, there are few things more mortifying and frustrating.
